Janet stood at the sink in the kitchen letting the water run over her hands as she rinsed the glass. She'd woken just as the sun started to rise and as she was thirsty she'd got up to watch it rise from her kitchen window.
Jacob stood in the doorway looking at her figure outlined against the red and gold of the sky line, the shafts of light emphasising every curve and nuance of her body through her nightgown. He moved over to her and slid one arm around her waist.
She leaned back against him. “Did I wake you?” she asked.
Jacob slid his other hand onto hers, moving his fingers against hers under the running water. “I was awake,” he whispered, his lips touching her neck. He laced his fingers into and around hers, moving them slowly and sensually against her wet skin.
Janet closed her eyes for a moment until he pointed out she was missing the best part of the sunrise. She smiled and opened her eyes, feeling his hands moving over her body. Just then the sun peeped over the horizon flooding the kitchen with golden light as her body was flooded with the love that only Jacob knew how to give her.
