Title: Back through the Stargate
Author: Tels
Fandom: Stargate SG1
Characters: pick your own Tok'ra
Rating: PG
Word count: 288
Prompt: #75 - Shade
Summary/Notes: inspired by Waltzing Matilda. Goes to the same tune ;) Oh and I know the Tok'ra don't say Stargate. It's poetic license. Chappa'ai doesn't fit.
There was once a Tok'ra sitting by a waterfall
Under the shade of a tall oak tree
And he thought as he watched and waited for the night to fall
I'm coming back through the Stargate to you.
Back through the Stargate, back through the Stargate
I'm coming back through the Stargate to you.
And he thought as he watched and waited for the night to fall
I'm coming back through the Stargate to you.
In his pocket he carried the crystal he'd come for
Information that would set a world free
And he thought as he felt the crystal in his pocket
I'll bring it back through the Stargate to you.
Back through the Stargate, back through the Stargate
I'll bring it back through the Stargate to you.
And he thought as he felt the crystal in his pocket
I'll bring it back through the Stargate to you.
Down came the system lord, via the ring transport,
Down came the jaffa, one, two, three.
"Give me back the crystal you've got in your pocket
Or you'll never go through the Stargate again.”
Back through the Stargate, back through the Stargate
You'll never go through the Stargate again
"Give me back the crystal you've got in your pocket
Or you'll never go through the Stargate again.”
Up got the Tok'ra and jumped into the waterfall,
"You'll never catch me alive," cried he
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that waterfall,
I'm coming back through the Stargate to you.
Back through the Stargate, back through the Stargate
I'm coming back through the Stargate to you.
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that waterfall,
I'm coming back through the Stargate to you.
