Black Velvet

Jacob raised his eyes as he felt the ribbon placed against his neck.
“What about you?” an all too familiar voice asked. “Will you swear allegiance to your God or will you join the other non believers?”
Jacob glanced over to where the jaffa were dragging out the bodies. Garshaw, Malek, Aldwin… all killed by the man now standing in front of him. Then he looked back at the black velvet clad figure in front of him. “I will never serve you,” he said.
“Pity,” Delek replied and activated the ribbon device.
Pain ripped through Jacob and he felt Selmak die an instant before he did.
Delek watched the body fall and smiled as he moved down to the next Tok'ra in the line. “And what about you?” he asked. “Will you serve your God?”
