Tels Merrick / Clare Revell Bio Page

Tels is my pen name. It began as my internet name and as most people know me as that it became my pen name.

I married Dean on September 5th 1992 and we have three children, born 1994, 1995 and 1999. We live in Reading, Berkshire.

Born in Southampton I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. All are married now and live in various parts of the UK and as far afield as Australia.

I read, write, do cross stitch as well as look after the kids and work part time in a school. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have letters after my name.

We attend Carey Baptist Church where I am one of the three registrars.

Makes me sound like superwoman but am far from that. Just a normal person who has 3 aims each day.

All my original works are based in either the fictional town of Tannoch up in the highlands of Scotland. Or in the equally fictional town of Headly Cross in Berkshire. Hmmm, I wonder where Headley Cross really is. ;-) I do this because it saves inventing a totally new cast each time. I need a cop then I have one established. I need a pastor or a doctor - ditto.
