Tels Merrick / Clare Revell Bio Page

Tels is my pen name. It began as my internet name and as most people know me as that it became my pen name.

I married Dean on September 5th 1992 and we have three children, born 1994, 1995 and 1999. We live in Reading, Berkshire.

Born in Southampton I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. All are married now and live in various parts of the UK and as far afield as Australia.

I read, write, do cross stitch as well as look after the kids and work part time in a school. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have letters after my name.

We attend Carey Baptist Church where I am one of the three registrars and help out in the creche.

Makes me sound like superwoman but am far from that. Just a normal person who has 3 aims each day.

All my original works are based in the fictional town of Tannoch up in the highlands of Scotland. I do this because it saves inventing a totally new cast each time. I need a cop then I have one established. I need a pastor or a doctor - ditto.
